SocrateOpen 2.1

BIT Software continues expansion of ERP solution SocrateOpen with over 100 Enhancements to Scalability, Usability and Functionality.

The new release SocrateOpen 2.1 includes new functionality in purchasing, customer assets, open items, accounting, online banking, web interface, and a new component addressed to companies distributing electronic appliances.

Certain features in SocrateOpen 2.1 require a Professional or Enterprise Edition subscription.

Standard Subscription and Community

Purchasing
  • Changes in the generation process of supplier invoices from receipts, so if the order from which the receipt is generated is in a currency and the invoice is in another currency, on the invoice the currency from the selected price list should appear.
  • Expanding cancellation receipts functionality

Inventory
  • Changes in existing reports (Physical Q/V Storage Report, Unsold products, Storage balance report) and new reports (Storage vs Tranzactions)
  • Advanced detailing on documents that load/unload inventory, in order to view info on product tranzactions.

Open items
  • Improvements in payments-invoices allocations window, new added project column, and new button for selecting/deselecting records in the invoice grid. By selecting the Process button, before creating the allocation, the period is checked
  • Improvements in bank statement import process
  • Improvements in existing reports (Open Item History, Unreconciled Payments) and new reports (Receipts revaluationi/tranzit accounts)

Accounting
  • Changes in accounting documents, processes, costs, reports

Customer assets
  • New document: Account transfer (SocrateOpen)
  • New report Asset report: Master&Cost Details (SocrateOpen)

Professional/Enterprise Subscription
Includes all the functionality included in the Community and Standard version plus: Online banking
  • Improvements on the ING bank statements import process

Web interface
  • Improvements in the web interface
A new component - Electronical Distribution - is available and is addressed to companies selling and distributing electronic appliances, including specific functionality for this area.The component could be purchased from BIT Software web store.
